One of my favourite clients to work with is Mission Belt, discount a mens belt company that gives a dollar from every purchase to people in 3rd world countries in the form of a loan to help them start businesses and fight the poverty cycle. For this shoot I wanted to explore the moody rustic theme and when I found this cool wood pile location, I knew the textures would really bring out the belts. Mission Belt loves facial hair so we looked for a model with a cool beard and got lucky that he had a top knot too…love the top knot. I wanted the clothes to be casual everyday summer attire with a neutral palette. I love how the pictures turned out and I think they are very versatile as far as seasons. It was taken in the spring but I think it works for summer/fall/winter.
