Corona got you down? Well hopefully you can find some good fun with the quick Easter place setting DIY. I got all of my paper goods from the dollar bin at Target but you can make or use what you have at home.

For the bunny ears watch the video in the link ABOVE for detailed instruction. You can use a paper or cloth napkin to make them. If you don’t have a napkin ring, use ribbon, string or a strip of cardstock paper taped into a loop like a paper chain. I used wooden eggs (also from the Target dollar bin) for the inside of the napkin. This can be replaced with a decorated egg, plastic egg or hard boiled egg. And last, the centerpiece. I just used the balloons I already had and some foliage from a vase in my house to layer. Use any other easter decor you have or everyday items that match your plates and it will look great!

Working during my second trimester has been a dream. For some reason I feel so much more inspired and am really happy with my work. Maybe its the good vibes from the sun and a happy baby in my tum, but whatever it is, this summer has been aweseom for design work.

This girl is cool, super talented and full of amazing style. When she came to me to do her branding I was psyched! Her illustration style is absoluelty beautiful and her color palettes are right up my alley so it was a fun project to work on.

She wanted something fun, brushy with a touch of fashion but still simple and classic so we decided to do the brushy script look with a watercolor circle for details. I actually made these marks by dipping the bottom of something round into my calligraphy ink and stamping it on paper. I then scanned it and made it into the colors I wanted.

Being pregnant has been so great lately and although I have been really tired, I have enjoyed all of the projects I have been working on lately.

This photographer had amazing taste and was really great to work with. Her photography style is soft and light catching beautiful moments which is why she is so popular. She wanted several colors but more muted and unique so this is what we came up with.

When Kimberly Call came to me to do branding for her new jewelry company I was so excited. She has the coolest style and I knew it would have a touch of bohemian so I seriously had a hayday doing this project.

Hepp is a hand made, remedy high end, pharm casual jewelry company with unique, cure modern pieces for every girl. The style is usually very simple but with a fun twist. She already knew she wanted nude and dark green for her color palette which is a palette I am inlove with lately to the point I am painting my bedroom wall this green color.

Hey eveybody! Today is a big day for me only because I am living my dream and doing West End Girl full time! I really can’t believe I made it to this point so soon in my career thanks to such a supportive husband. The gratitude and excitement I feel today makes me giggle like a school girl. I have been thinking a lot about the direction I want to go and what I want to do with my business and after hours of convo’s with my experienced friends and taking a ton of advice I think it just comes down to me. I AM ME and thats all I can be and so my blog is going to consist of all the things I love. I don’t want to change much about what I am doing but I am excited to be able to blog more regularly and add more fun fashion posts. As an artist I am interested in anything and everything even the slightest bit creative and therefore my range of hobbies is enormous! I plan to post about everything from my designs, styling, fashion and beauty to my love of interiors, diy, music, creative writing and of course me and my hub. I want this to be a platform where people can just enjoy what they are looking at and get great ideas for their own home or businesses. West End Girl is your one stop shop for creativity. Busy doing things for pretty people who do pretty things. This client makes your eyes pop with some sexy lash extensions. I absolutely love what lash extensions do for a girl, literally my self esteem jumps up a few points when I wake up and look in the mirror and don’t shake my head in disgust. Rather I smile and flutter my big luscious lashes and feel good about what the world has to offer me. But enough of my ranting on about beauty and such, lets get to the design of these cards. I knew immediately that I wanted to do gold lashes somehow. I am very inspired by the fashion illustrators lately so I wanted to do a hand drawn element with a sleek, sexy and fashion forward but simple card. I started out with a much bigger colour palette but we quickly cut it down to the beautiful black and white with touches of gold. These were some of my favourite concepts, I love how it turned out.

When designing for this winter styled shoot, and I wanted to do something that was a challenge for me. I am working on my painting skills and I have never really painted florals so I thought it would be a fun time to practice. I also wanted to do a grungy calligraphy style to offset the soft florals. I chose a dusty blue for the color because of the season and thought it gave it a bit more of a winter feel.
