Tuscan Wedding Inspiration

It has literally taken me a year to post this beauty but here it is! Everything about this Tuscan inspired shoot was perfect from the model to the food. This is actually the place I had my wedding reception so it was fun to go back and relive everything and see the changes they had made to the gardens. I loved working with this amazing crew on this project and was excited to do navy and gold ink on the silk and willow hand made paper for the paper goods. I love how they turned out and how they added a little raw beauty to the table design.

Wood Pile Shoot

One of my favourite clients to work with is Mission Belt, discount a mens belt company that gives a dollar from every purchase to people in 3rd world countries in the form of a loan to help them start businesses and fight the poverty cycle. The belts are made of real leather and my husband absolutely loves the no hole technology. I love it for the simplicity because as a designer, buy cialis I need simple and minimalistic therefore these belts are awesome.

For this shoot I wanted to explore the moody rustic theme and when I found this cool wood pile location, I knew the textures would really bring out the belts. Mission Belt loves facial hair so we looked for a model with a cool beard and got lucky that he had a top knot too…love the top knot. I wanted the clothes to be casual everyday summer attire with a neutral palette. I love how the pictures turned out and I think they are very versatile as far as seasons. It was taken in the spring but I think it works for summer/fall/winter.

Back to School

I can’t believe its already that time of the year! I think this summer went by in a flash but I really had a great time working with some amazing and talented young people. This photoshoot was planned for a company called Mission Belt in my local area. They wanted something fun and school oriented to show youth wearing their new nylon belts. Besides the fact that we were melting in the 95 degree weather I think it turned out great. I always love working with great photographers to get the right look and ultimately the right images to bring in the $$$$.

I have been missing my educational experience a lot lately and this shoot kind of reinforced that for me. I missed learning, although I do feel fulfilled in my career choice and opportunities, there is just something about the school environment and the wide variety of subjects that makes me love school so much. Luckily for me, it is education week at BYU, so I am determined to learn as much as I can and try to implement t into my life the best way I know how. I’m hoping it will spark some creative juices for some new exciting projects. We shall see!

Pink Wedding Inspiration

This shoot is perrrrrfect for Valentines Day. The inspiration shoot was done at the Salt Flats in Utah and it made it look so pretty. I learned that there is a pink side and a blue side…the salt is actually pink and blue isn’t that awesome.

Anyway back to the deets. For this wedding suite, I wanted to use florals and gold ink to make it match the florals in the dress. The scenery was really simple so I thought it would be a fun way to pull in some accents of florals and color.

Peonies and emerald green

This shoot was one I planned with Amber Reverie Dickson a local florist with amazing talent. I had a ton of peonies blooming in my back yard and I wanted to take advantage of them so we asked Chantel Marie Photography to help us and this is what came out. We were going for a soft yet grudge look with lots of greens and pinks. I think Chantel’s photography style was perfect!

Moody Fall Copper Shoot

I loved helping with this shoot because I love anything moody. The color palette was amazing and the vendors really made it fun. Mary claire photography is a phenomenal photographer and she travels which is bomb for anyone outside of Arizona. If you ever need someone awesome with a wide range of styles and subjects she is your girl.

The color palette was fun because its mixed bright colors with the moody style going on in the makeup and lighting. I love gold but sometimes copper is better, dosage order I think it added the perfect finishing touches to help balance out the darkness of the shoot.
