Jordan Tyacke has been my friend since the cheer squad in high school and was my roommate when I got engaged. There were about five of us planning our weddings and it was quite aIt was a crazy time. Her color was also purple and she wanted something very simple with a lace pattern now available in my shop in any color. Her wedding ended up so beautiful and the day went perfectly. She is a huge Taylor Swift fan so I thought this song was a perfect touch for her wedding.

Well if you haven’t noticed the color of the year is EVERYWHERE! to be honest I have never really liked purple but the fact that I did two purple weddings last year really opened me up to using the color. Just in time right. Well I wanted to do a post of the beautiful pantone, radiant orchid and have a little inspiration board of some of the items I have seen around in that glorious color. I think this song is perfect for this color, it kind of makes me think about when I was a little girl, loving pretty things like purple hair and petals.

I never think of using the color purple for weddings but recently I have done some purple themed weddings. Its funny how colors go in and out and purple is all the rage right now and it just so happens to be the color of the year for 2014. My sisters favorite color is purple and so it was fun for me to try new things. I did a watercolor purple invitation for her which is now available on my etsy shop. Here are some of the fun highlights including a chalkboard signs, store flower arrangements and any printed pieces I did for this wedding.
