I watched Hook last night and it reminded me of being little. I think about all the dreams and ideas I had when I was little and how I wanted to change the world and be a princess…haha it actually made my heart a little sad to think how pure my intentions were. There is so much more to it now, online so much life experience had and innocence lost. I hope as I have children and can let them be children and hopefully they will have as big as an imagination as I did. I am really excited for the new Pan movie to come out and I wanted to practice my watercolor lettering. This was my first one with my Pentel pen so its a bit sloppy but I thought I would share it anyway. Enjoy!

Hey eveybody! Today is a big day for me only because I am living my dream and doing West End Girl full time! I really can’t believe I made it to this point so soon in my career thanks to such a supportive husband. The gratitude and excitement I feel today makes me giggle like a school girl. I have been thinking a lot about the direction I want to go and what I want to do with my business and after hours of convo’s with my experienced friends and taking a ton of advice I think it just comes down to me. I AM ME and thats all I can be and so my blog is going to consist of all the things I love. I don’t want to change much about what I am doing but I am excited to be able to blog more regularly and add more fun fashion posts. As an artist I am interested in anything and everything even the slightest bit creative and therefore my range of hobbies is enormous! I plan to post about everything from my designs, styling, fashion and beauty to my love of interiors, diy, music, creative writing and of course me and my hub. I want this to be a platform where people can just enjoy what they are looking at and get great ideas for their own home or businesses. West End Girl is your one stop shop for creativity. Taylor Swift. I have never been a real big fan of her music but I think she is an amazing artist and obviously everyone loves anything she puts out. I think her new album is great and this song had so many fun little quotes that I had to design one for the old shop. I think the phrase “shake it off” is such a good thing to keep in your pocket and pull out when you feel upset about something. Lately I have been a little sensitive to comments and actions of others and the overarching theme that keeps running through my head is these three little words. I Love trying to better myself (although it is sometimes overwhelming) but having this print on the wall next to my computer is the perfect reminder. Forgive, store cialis get over it, treatment and be happy!

I am building my first home! It is so exciting but so scary, I know I will make mistakes and do things that I may not love so I have just decided to embrace it. Because it is our first home I don’t have any experience building and therefore I am asking everyone for advice. If you have any, feel free to share cause I need all that I can get.
In making decisions, I of course turn to pinterest and then I am overwhelmed! Haha but I have managed to start sorting things into color palettes and styles that I would like to use. You will be seeing a bunch from me in the next few months. I loved this particular one because it is deep and moody but very clean and totally me. I have noticed that contrast is an important point in decor. Everything has been white for so long, and that is what I love, but the dark contrasting accent walls and decor are making their way back into interior design. I am going to do a charcoal accent wall amongst my white walls to bring some simple drama to our home.

Hello ladies and fashionable gents. I designed a lovely little number for a fashion lovers wall. Who doesn’t love YSL, and in gold foil? I die! Here is a new addition to my store and I wanted to show you a unique way I styled it. You can use a hanger like these or a normal skirt hanger here and clip it in. I saw these amazing grape vines in my neighborhood and had to take advantage of them. Check this print out at my store here. I am also giving away one print to some lucky person! I love black and white and I love the fact that dalmation pattern is totally in!! I put together a few spots that caught my eye, view cheap my fav is the Anne B clutch up top. It is literally the cutest thing and all her bags are to die for. She is a local designer that is just starting up and I love what she is doing. I also designed a gold foil dalmation pattern dot print that would be a fun touch of texture to a room. Have fun with this trend, order its so easy to use.

Well if you haven’t noticed the color of the year is EVERYWHERE! to be honest I have never really liked purple but the fact that I did two purple weddings last year really opened me up to using the color. Just in time right. Well I wanted to do a post of the beautiful pantone, radiant orchid and have a little inspiration board of some of the items I have seen around in that glorious color. I think this song is perfect for this color, it kind of makes me think about when I was a little girl, loving pretty things like purple hair and petals.
