Not only is this girl absolutely beautiful, but she is talented and has the best style. I loved working on this design because I used a color palette that was so soft and summery. We used details like the sunset/sunrise and the custom typography to get the final look we wanted and I couldn’t be happier with it. I’m always a sucker for simple beauty because I feel like it is the most timeless and my goal for branding is to create brands that last.

My Giveaway Winners Branding!!! I LOVED doing this project because I had so much freedom to do what inspired me. She wanted a variation of fun fonts and a simple floral/greenery element and these are the fun options I came up with. Doing branding never gets old for me. I love seeing how a great logo can transform a brand from ok to amazing and put together. A logo should make your business look the way you imagine it to be and reach the target market you want. Chelsea is a young California photographer with a light airy mood to her images. I think we chose the perfect final option.

This was such a fun branding job to work on because I felt really inspired. Lately it’s been hard with the littles and I am feeling kind of burned out/bored but doing this project really helped me remember why I love doing design. I get to make people look good, and what could be cooler than that. I really do believe image of a company can sell more than a good salesman. It’s like going to the mall, you don’t even walk into the stores that have a bad logo and bad window display, yet they may have exactly what you are looking for.

Since I was little I have always loved making things beautiful, I would give makeovers to whoever would let me, I would color and paint things to beautify them and when my Professor asked me why I wanted to be a designer I said because I want to make the world a more beautiful place. Yes, I’m a dreamer, and I love that about myself. My husband laughs when I give him answers like that but it keeps me sane to believe I can do something amazing for other people even if it’s at a small scale like designing a logo or doing a pretty wedding invitation.

Erin Hoyt is an amazing photographer from the Chicago area that wanted a clean, classic urban look like most of the weddings she shoots. We decided on this logo because it had a good balance of all of the above. I also love how she wanted to add a touch of really pale pink to bring in a softer look.

Loved working with this girl on her branding. She is an amazing film photographer that I have worked with in the past and it was so fun to work with her clean, buy natural style. She wanted a really fun color palette and I am always up for something new and different. I think we came up with a good balance in the burnt orange, navy and dusty blue.

This was one of the last branding projects I did before I had Scarlett and I loved working on it. It’s so nice when clients have good style and want something that is fun to design and gives you the look and feel that you prefer to do. Heather Wagner Photography is an awesome brand with natural, lifestyle looking photography which I love. We wanted to do something simple and classic with a tiny twist of nature and this is what we came up with. Hope you like it
