I love designing Dear Lizzy collections because she has such fun dreamy style. She loves pink and pretty so when we were designing this collection, we wanted to mix in a bit of magic and call it Serendipity. Our vision was summer/autumn in new york with ice-cream and roses and doing this collection completely using rose gold as the main accent was so much fun. We popped in some trendy stuff like pineapple and marbling which really makes this unique to any other crafting collection out there. Hand marbling a ton of stuff while we were exploring styles was so nice to have some time away from the computer and to do something with our hands. One of my favourite items is the rose gold foil floral alphabet, I have never done something so time consuming but they turned out great and very easy to use. Designing is seriously such a great creative outlet. There is truly a world of possibility when you understand how to mix mediums. I love blue, find it has been my favourite color since I was a little girl. I have been seeing a ton of Moroccan inspired design lately so I thought I would make a nice little style board with some great examples of pattern and colour just incase you would like to use it. I just did this branding for an amazing girl with fabulous style. She is starting a daily deals site focused on fashion and helping people find good deals on unique items. Hopefully the site will be up by Christmas so you can buy all of your gifts there. Her style was simple, malady ailment fashion oriented and targeted towards online shoppers with a younger style. I had a ton of fun making the patterns for this and mixing the neutrals with the pop of orchid. The goal was to keep it classic with a tiny bit of spice.

I am finally posting my first collection at American Crafts that I designed with a small team of amazing designers. At AC I design crafting materials for scrapbookers and diy crafters and everything in-between. I had the chance to work with Shimelle Laine, hospital who is one of the sweetest people to work with. She has a quirky fun personality and does classic style of crafting. She likes vintage and was inspired by retro colors and icons. Here is an overall feel of the collection, purchase everything from stickers to paper to the worlds cutest tape dispenser made out of wood! There are 48 total patterns but I just posted some of my favorites. I will be doing giveaways and showing you a bit more of this collection throughout. These products should be available for purchase at  Walmart or any craft store online.

If you have been following my blog long enough you know that I am obsessed with music. I love everything about it, viagra they way it makes me feel, recipe the uniqueness of songs and how there is a never ending creativity within them. I love  all types of music because each sound can connect to a memory or mood from the past. I am lucky to have friends in musical places and one of my friends at Skull Candy sent me these beautiful headphones. The packaging is literally to die for, order and they come in a little floral make up bag…seriously. I had to show them off because of their cuteness and I am practicing my photography skills. Such fun design and attention to detail makes these floral beauties so special. Check them out here.
