This project was reaallly cool to work on because it was two sister companies with the same mood board. One was more lifestyle and flowy and the other was modern product photography. I put both options images in this post so you could see all the variations we did.

I LOVE VARIATIONS.

My favourite word is variety :). I feel like this was a good challenge for me and I learned a lot about working with two similar brands that needed to look different.

I really loved working on my MPP last year because it gave me the freedom to try new styles and do whatever I wanted with the music that inspires me. I decided to pick it up again and do a few this year.

I love this woman’s music and everything she is about, fun, good beats, crazy lyrics (sometimes inappropriate :/), but amazing nonetheless. I did two versions, a red and a yellow, which do you prefer?? I also had some fun messing around with actions in PSD and doing a glitch. Coolnesssss!

I am building my first home! It is so exciting but so scary, I know I will make mistakes and do things that I may not love so I have just decided to embrace it. Because it is our first home I don’t have any experience building and therefore I am asking everyone for advice. If you have any, feel free to share cause I need all that I can get.

In making decisions, I of course turn to pinterest and then I am overwhelmed! Haha but I have managed to start sorting things into color palettes and styles that I would like to use. You will be seeing a bunch from me in the next few months. I loved this particular one because it is deep and moody but very clean and totally me. I have noticed that contrast is an important point in decor. Everything has been white for so long, and that is what I love, but the dark contrasting accent walls and decor are making their way back into interior design. I am going to do a charcoal accent wall amongst my white walls to bring some simple drama to our home.

So this was one of the options I was trying to do for my wedding but it didn’t feel quite right for my style but I did love it. I changed the colors and I think I found the perfect type of wedding it would work for.  Blush is always a classic invitation color and I do many in that shade but I really wanted to branch out and try navy blue and gold with cream. This color mix is really elegant and adds some richness to a wedding but still has the natural elegance one would want at their wedding. I paired it with the rustic recycled envelope look to add in the natural feel that went with the hand drawn leafy wreath.

I put together some mood boards of the type of wedding I think this would work with. All of these pins came from my wedding board if you want to see more. This invitation is available on my etsy shop called Details. The link is below or in the right side panel. All of my invitations are sold as templates so the Bride would print them out at a local printer. The reason I chose to do this is because it is much more resourceful for me and the Bride. I sell the customizable templates for a lower cost and they get access to print as many as they would like, whether its 50 or 500. Since I work at the design agency I don’t have time to do large printing jobs so it is perfect for the time that I have. Hope you enjoy!
