I love designing Dear Lizzy collections because she has such fun dreamy style. She loves pink and pretty so when we were designing this collection, we wanted to mix in a bit of magic and call it Serendipity. Our vision was summer/autumn in new york with ice-cream and roses and doing this collection completely using rose gold as the main accent was so much fun. We popped in some trendy stuff like pineapple and marbling which really makes this unique to any other crafting collection out there. Hand marbling a ton of stuff while we were exploring styles was so nice to have some time away from the computer and to do something with our hands. One of my favourite items is the rose gold foil floral alphabet, I have never done something so time consuming but they turned out great and very easy to use. Designing is seriously such a great creative outlet. There is truly a world of possibility when you understand how to mix mediums. This is the last crafting collection I worked on for Dear Lizzy and it just came out!! Woohoo! She was a delight to work with and has such a fun bright style. It’s a little bitter sweet but I feel good about where I am currently and the type of work I have now.

I loved coming up with new products like the cork bows and the gold and mint ticket roll. The fun lettering and the bright colors make for a really cute combination in florals and other products. If you love paper crafting and DIY projects you will LOVE this collection.

This was such a fun shoot to do after all of our hard work designing the products for the Fine and Dandy collection for Dear Lizzy. She is such a fun person to work with and her style is exactly what the crafting world needs. This collection was designed to be an everyday style with products focused on party. The colour palette is really fun with the chartreuse and the red-orange to make it usable for boy or girl parties. It has everything from dalmatian dots (which I just had to put in) to cute pink flamingos for the party of your dreams. I think my favourite items are the glitter infused plastic bows and the gold heart wall decals. I love everything seriously, for sale from confetti sticks to wooden spoons, ampoule this makes for a great final project for my time with American Crafts. Get these products here
