Tonight was wonderfully stressful. I had this huge vision in my head of the twins “simple” yet cute party and things kept coming up and changing to the point where I had to give up my vision.

It’s funny I felt like I hardly took any pictures of all the work I had put into it and yet these ones of me and Ari were my favorite (no work). It just shows how distracted we can get from the whole focus in the first place. These girls have lived a year, and our family has conquered some difficult things! The details are such an important part for me but at the end of the day it’s family, always family that make the memories.

My gosh I can’t believe we made it through the first year with four kids! It has been so hard and so lovely with these sweet additions. The wild flower theme seemed fitting for these babes considering their names remind me of flowers. Ari (blue BELLE) and Olivia ( ROSE) . I used lots of crepe paper flowers and silk ribbon with as many poppies as I could get. Although I didn’t get to make it exactly the way I wanted, it still turned out wildly fun .

I never post recipes but I don’t want to forget this one and I searched high and low for the original recipe (which doesn’t exist) so I made up my own and its perfect.

INGREDIENTS:

1 Large graham cracker pie crust

1 pint of heavy whipping cream

1 package of cream cheese (must be room temperature

1 small packet of strawberry jello mix

1 dozen strawberries

3/4 cup of granulated sugar

About 3/4 cup of powdered sugar

1tsp of Vanilla

STEPS

1.First whip the heavy whipping cream with a mixer or hand-mixer adding in the vanilla and powdered sugar. Beat until cream becomes stiff peaks

2. Beat room tempurature cream cheese in a separate bowl. Add the 3/4 cup of granulated sugar and about 1/3 of the strawberry jello packet. Beat until thouroughly mixed.

3. Add the cream cheese to the whipping cream bowl and mix well. There should not be any clumps.

4. Pour evenly into graham cracker crust

5. Slice strawberries and cover the top.

You may serve immediately or chill for a few hours. You’re going to love it!

I loved designing this Thanksgiving tablescape because it had all the warmth that I would want in a harvest table setting. Most of these items are from target home and a few of them were foraged branches or stor bought branches from Hobby Lobby. I also used real pumkins and candles to add more of a mood.
