Well you know me, I get bored really quickly and want to redesign or redecorate all of the time. Scarlett is now almost 4 years old and I was ready to give her room a face lift. I always look around and see what I can reuse and then add touches of personality whereever I can. (Links Below) With her room, we bought a big girl bed, the honey rattan one with a fun two-tone pink bed spread. I wanted to keep the pink tones because I already had curatins and a few pillows that I still loved. I then bought some fun pillows that matched the rainbow decal to pull it all together. A canopy is always a little girls dream touch to a room so I found one on Amazon and put some twinkle lights in it. I bought a brass rod to class things up a bit and then found the cutest rattan mirror at Home Goods.
For her artwork and accessories, I couldn’t find what I wanted int he right colors so I designed a few things. The abstract rainbows were really fun and simple and pulled in the theme without being too matchy. I’m selling them in my Ash + Ivory shop for $4 a print so head over there and download them! I bought a few things from target like the bird stature and the white houses. I kept her little unicorn head that I had purchased from Target years ago ( I think they still carry it), and then found this old bench I used to have when I was little. We painted it white and then put my cute targert pillows on them and the room was complete! I love how it turned out and I didn’t have to spend a fortune to switch it up.
